    Web Insights: a decade supporting Building Schools For Africa

    Web Insights is proud to be celebrating its tenth year working with and raising money for Building Schools For Africa — an incredible organization dedicated to improving lives by building hope and providing access to education, healthcare and water in Cameroon. In 2010, Web Insights began working with the organization, with ‘giving back’ rooted in the culture of the business. From active charity ventures, including mountain-climbing, skydiving and long-distance bike rides, to fundraisers, charity balls and ‘dress down’ days, the Web Insights team is dedicated to supporting this extraordinary charity in its important endeavours to provide access to education, empower people and develop communities.

    Since 2006, Building Schools For Africa has built 309 classrooms, facilitated 64 health centres and water projects, helped 100 schools and donated 100% of funds to its various projects. Throughout their decade-long support of the UK-registered charity, Web Insights has raised thousands to help support them in their mission. In 2015, for example, Web Insights raised over £100,000 for the charity through its ‘Give As You Earn Scheme’, which gives employees the opportunity to donate regularly, directly from their salary. Then, In 2017, the Web Insights team auctioned off goods to 150 attendees at a black-tie auction, raising more than £27,000 for the charity. Most recently, in 2019, Web Insights funded a project in Cameroon that developed a maternity center at Ntaache in the NW region.
